NYÜBU Mountain Balm.

Nyübu is a captivating forest balm that is crafted for the true mountain spirit. It contains the essences and infusions of the plants of our sacred mountains. We intentionally crafted this after a vision we had one snowy night in our cabin. We wanted to create a sensual silky balm that could protect our skin during these cold dry winter months. We contemplated how we could compose it to be a representation of the forest and mountains in our area.

"In Buddhism there is a questing action called Nyübu. Which means to go into the mountains in order to understand oneself and to remake ones connection to the Great. It is a very old ritual related to the cycles of preparing the earth, sowing, and harvesting. While it might be good to trek into the real mountains if possible, there are also mountains in the underworld, in ones unconscious, and luckily, we all carry the entrance to the underworld right in our own psyche, so we can go into the mountains for renewal with dispatch.

Sweet sticky lemony pine notes, cooling myrrh, juniper berry fruit, and blueberry seed oil round out to create a euphoric effect upon first sniff. Uplifting, hypnotic forest plants dance together. Wet rain on the high desert sage and white spruce trees reminds us of winters inward work ahead. When lathered on you feel submerged in the pine trees as if you were sitting on the forest floor, looking up at the canopy. This compositions delivers great hydration to hands and face. Use liberally and intentionally.
